Inspection & Assessment Workshop

You are invited to pre-register for the Inspection & Assessment Workshop. This event will take place in Charlotte, NC, April 28 - 30, 2026.

This two-and-a-half-day workshop, hosted by EPRI at the Charlotte Office, will help enhance the knowledge of transmission engineers on the fundamentals and applications of the inspection and assessment of overhead transmission lines. Demonstrations and practical sessions of line inspection tools will be provided as well as a round table discussion for all members to have the opportunity to provide feedback.

This workshop is an opportunity to enhance one’s knowledge of overhead line inspection and assessment, understand EPRI’s research facilities and testing capabilities, and network with utility peers with common interests.

Pre-Registration Instructions:

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the nature of this course and seat limits, the registration process will be a two-step process, with EPRI staff tracking and approving each request.

- 2 free seats for Inspection & Assessment Task Force project funders (P35.001, P35.002, P35.003, P35.004, P35.018) or Program 35 full funders

- 1 free seat to EU4T funders

- $3,000 for non-funders (or for funders purchasing additional seats beyond their free allotment).
